Reckoning Release Event

Privateer Press is having a release event for the upcoming Warmachine book, Reckoning! here is a short description of the event with a link to the details:

"This is a WARMACHINE-only event that features the Cygnar, Protectorate of Menoth, Khador, Cryx, Retribution of Scyrah, Convergence of Cyriss, and Mercenary armies. This event coincides with the release of WARMACHINE: Reckoning and allows players to earn Reckoning points over the course of the day in a casual, free-play environment.

Note: Event Organizers can allow HORDES armies in a WARMACHINE: Reckoning release event at their discretion, but players should note that the awards and rules for this event are designed for WARMACHINE. Be sure to check with your Event Organizer if you are considering playing a HORDES army in this WARMACHINE event."

After reading the PDF with the event details, you can earn a lot of points from showing up to the event with a fully painted army, three warcasters and just being in the spirit of the event and having a good time. as for the format, there is only one Scenario and each faction has a specific objective that they need to add to the board before deployment. The pdf is pretty clear on how to setup the board and how the event should go.

I will have to contact my LGS to see if they are going to be doing this event. OH one last thing that is on the Reckoning Release PDF, all points go to earning the FACTION AND CHAMPION COINS!!!

I am not a big fan of the pins that have been released by Privateer Press lately but Patches and Coins are where it's at!.

Players of the Faction of their choice will be earning points and competing to earn their respective faction's coin, one is available per faction. The player with the most points by the end of the Event will be declared the winner and will earn the Champion Coin. Cool stuff.

In other news, I have decided that I will be writing about the Corollary next. The reason being, there is a lot of interaction between the Warcasters and Vectors and I could not finish writing my inverter article without constantly bringing up the Corollary and the Focus Induction rule. The Corollary is the linchpin of the Convergence battlegroup. So next up, The Corollary
